About John:
With over 35 years accounting experience, John started his career at Melbourne’s Mclean Delmo. In 2000, he became a salaried partner before moving onto a Directorship in 2002 at CPW Chartered Accountants. John has been a member of CPA since 1990 and specialises in structuring at all levels, taxation planning, asset protection, business acquisitions, mergers and sales, negotiations, management consulting, superannuation, valuations, research and development, estate planning and international tax.
Little known secret:
Long term, loyal Collingwood supporter, horse racing enthusiast and golf tragic.
Sally King
Director

About Sally:
Originally from Canberra, Sally’s accounting career commenced over 29 years ago in a chartered firm delivering audits to both some of Australia’s best known companies as well as some truly intriguing, off-the-beaten track NFPs. In 1996 Sally became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants before moving to taxation and business management where she has specialised for the past twenty five years. Sally’s expertise lies in valuations, due diligence, management consulting, taxation planning, structuring, superannuation, retirement planning and all compliance and income tax-related matters.
Little known secret:
Long distance runner with a soft spot for champagne and the Bulldogs.
Steve Madden

About Steve:
Hailing from the tiny town of Koroit in Western Victoria, Steve returned to his regional heartland in 2008, to head up the Kennedy King Geelong office, in the role of Director. With over 25 years of experience working as a CPA, both here in Australia and in the UK and Canada, Steve holds comprehensive knowledge and experience in taxation services. This includes a specialisation in research and development, IT, capital gains tax, fringe benefits tax, quarterly management meetings and management consulting. Steve and his team of accountants and admin staff enjoy the work/life balance the coastal region offers and take pride in supporting and engaging with the Geelong and surrounding community.
Little known secret:
Bit of a camping adventurer – more Russell Coight than Bear Grylls.

Peter Morris

About Peter:
Peter is an experienced CPA and Registered Tax Agent with over 10 years of professional practice. Known for his client-focused approach, he enjoys building strong relationships and supporting clients at Kennedy King. A lifelong basketball fan and former player, Peter is multilingual and speaks Greek. He loves travelling and learning local languages, and brings both expertise and humour to his work.
Glenn Swane

About Glenn:
Glenn Swane is a Chartered Accountant and SMSF specialist who helps clients navigate complex superannuation matters with confidence. With extensive experience across SMSF accounting and retirement planning, he is known for his clear, calm approach to technical challenges. Outside of work, Glenn enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors, which helps him stay balanced and energised.
Michael Douglass

Michael joined Kennedy King as a graduate accountant in 2017, fresh out of university. Michael enjoys solving the number puzzle and likes to be creative in his work – but not too creative for accounting! Outside work, hiking and rock climbing fulfill his passion for the outdoors.
Sue Osbourne

About Sue:
Sue started at Kennedy King in 2021 and brings a wealth of experience as a Senior Superannuation Accountant. Outside work, Sue likes to spend time at the theatre, cinema, and walking the many gardens in and around Melbourne. Travelling the world with her family is also another great passion and Sue is looking forward to more travel soon!
Hyeongman Park

About Hyeongman:
Commencing as a Graduate Accountant with Kennedy King in 2018, Park looks after small-medium entities such as manufacturers, hospitality, property developers and doctors. As well as tax assistance, Park has a strong business and management accounting background and provides clients with support and training on Reckon, Xero, and other accounting packages. Park not only loves music, but is also a versatile musician.
Annalise Cook

About Annalise:
Annalise joined Kennedy King in February 2022 and works with the Geelong team, assisting with all things tax and bookkeeping. Annalise is always eager to learn and take on new challenges. You’ll find her in the gym or enjoying a cocktail with her friends outside of work.
Christine Christie

Christine is a former physiotherapist and business owner who transitioned into accounting in 2024 after running her own practice for more than 25 years. She brings a rare blend of clinical experience, business management insight, and strong organisational skills. Known for her kindness, humour, and reliability, Christine enjoys bookkeeping, coordinating accounts, and keeping systems running smoothly. Her hands-on business background and ability to connect with people make her a valuable contributor to any accounting or administrative team. Outside of work, she loves hosting dinner parties and bringing people together.
Matthew Ellis

About Matthew:
With a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Finance, Matt joined Kennedy King as an Undergraduate Accountant in 2024. His Commerce degree inspired an enthusiasm for investments and financial planning, as well as a keen interest in superannuation accounting. A die-hard Hawthorn fan, Matt loves going to the football and has the remarkable ability of ambidexterity.
Kazuma Sano-Toney

About Kazuma:
With a Bachelor of Business and International Business, Kazuma started his accounting career at Kennedy King as a Graduate Accountant, referred to us by a client. He is eager to learn new skills as he supports clients to achieve their financial goals, while he develops and deepens his superannuation expertise. AFL, soccer and Formula One keep Kazuma entertained outside of work, as does watching TV and movies.

Jack Kennedy is a Graduate Tax Accountant who has completed a Bachelor of Commerce and is currently completing the CA Program. Since joining Kennedy King, Jack has developed a solid foundation in taxation and continues to build his technical capability through hands-on experience and ongoing study. Known for his approachable nature and attention to detail, Jack enjoys an active lifestyle outside work, including playing amateur AFL football, supporting Collingwood, and playing golf.

Aaron Harris

Friendly, laid-back, and always up for a social gathering, Aaron brings three years of experience with cloud software in the accounting and project management space. He joined Kennedy King to put down roots close to family and friends, and his energy and curiosity have made him a strong fit for the team. Outside of work, Aaron enjoys quality time with others—whether it’s a one-on-one walk, a group board game, or a trip to the movies—usually with an iced coffee in hand. Poker is a favourite pastime, reflecting his love of strategy, odds, and healthy competition.

Blake is a Bachelor of Commerce and Finance student at Monash University with a strong interest in markets, the economy, and building wealth. Entrepreneurial by nature, he enjoys exploring investment ideas and understanding how businesses grow. A high achiever both academically and physically, Blake has run a 10.6‑second 100m sprint and once surfed with dolphins. Caring and socially proactive, he naturally brings people together and combines drive, curiosity, and strong interpersonal skills that position him well for a future in finance.

Known as a fixer and problem solver, Linda is the go-to for clients and staff alike, with her extensive practice knowledge, accrued over 13 years at Kennedy King. A qualified accountant, Linda has held the positions of Manager and Practice Manager before stepping into her current role to support John Kennedy and his portfolio of clients. Linda enjoys attending bookclub (more for the food, wine and company) and her enduring weakness is dark chocolate.
Lisa Johnson
PA to Sally King
About Lisa:
With over 30 years of experience, Lisa is a dab hand at everything in the office. PA to Sally King for nearly 5 years, Lisa likes nothing more than organising the footy tipping competition, coordinating the staff Christmas party and treating the Kennedy King team with homemade goodies. She loves owning fast racehorses (still waiting), eating out, drinking bubbles and having a laugh or three over a Thursday night drink.

Chree is an integral part of the Geelong team, having held her role since 2010. In her position as PA to Steve Madden and her historical knowledge of the firm machinations, Chree deals with all facets of the organisation. Other than, travelling, Chree enjoys walks with her golden retreiver Coco and spending time with family and friends.

Debra has over 30 years of experience in ASIC corporate compliance, records management, and administration within the accounting industry. She joined Kennedy King in November 2025 and brings extensive industry knowledge and attention to detail. Outside of work, Debra enjoys walking her German Shepherd, exploring beaches, nature, and wildlife, taking road trips to Queensland with her family, and attending AFL games as a dedicated Western Bulldogs supporter.
